Connecting Offline Learners in Rural Sierra Leone to the World's Knowledge
Our Vision
We envision a time, when a young student in a rural village of Sierra Leone, has the same opportunity to learn anything that students in Freetown, the capital, or any city in the modern world can.
Our Mission
Find, deploy, and help maintain self-learning technologies in the rural villages of Sierra Leone that level the learning opportunities between the village, the city, and the rest of the world.
Make the “whole world possible”
Why?
As a learner, a parent, or a tutor we founders all used Khan Academy. We have all been very lucky and want to give back. Three of us grew up in rural Sierra Leone and credit Khan Academy with making our current education and profession possible. We want to create the same possibilities in rural Sierra Leone today despite the lack of internet and power.
We want to make the “whole world possible.”
